Veitsel Andrei

Andrei Veitsel was born in Moscow on September 28, 1977. In 2000, he graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), Department of Aircraft Radioelectronics. In 2204, he earned a Ph.D. in Engineering, having defended his thesis on Improving the Accuracy of Geodesy Measurements by Randomizing Multipath Errors in a GPS/GLONASS Receiver.
Since 1998, he worked for the Theoretical Division of Javad Positioning Systems. He dealt with issues of signal digital processing in GPS/GLONASS receivers, researched methods of mitigating multipath error in navigation receivers, dealt with joint processing of navigation receiver measurements and inertial sensors.
Since 2003, he has been working at the Research and Development Department of Topcon Positioning Systems’ Moscow Office. Since 2006, he directed works on navigation receiver system engineering. He deals with issues of receiving and processing existing and new signals of various satellite navigation systems, as well as developing innovative algorithms to improve positioning accuracy with navigation receivers. Since 2013, he has been working as a research and development director.
He is an author of over 40 publications and coauthor of Russian and foreign patents.
